Daneca DiPaolo, MD

Dr. DiPaolo, known as Donna, is a native of NJ where she attended medical school at Rutgers-NJ Medical School and completed residency at the Rutgers-NJ Medical School University Hospital. She possesses additional fellowship training in Hand/Upper Extremity/Microsurgery from Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. DiPaolo spent the first half of her career working at level 1 and 2 trauma centers caring for large and small joint injuries and mangled limbs. She was blessed with much professional success, locally chairing an orthopedic department at a level 2 teaching hospital and nationally serving as past president of the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society, along with teaching/mentoring residents and students. Seeking work/family balance in a warmer climate, she relocated to the Mid-South where she relishes her role of small town rural orthopedic provider.

When asked many years ago to help Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto get their trauma program off the ground, she welcomed the opportunity to provide this much needed care to her neighbors in north Mississippi. Today, she serves in the OrthoSouth Hospitalist division at Baptist Memorial Hospital in East Memphis.

At home, with lifetime Giants/Packers fan husband George and their three children, "Go Rebs" is a frequent refrain!
